Rendang Ayam









  • Bahan-bahan:
  • 1 ekor ayam.

  • Bahan2 dikisar:-

  • 10 ulas bawang merah
  • 4 ulas bawang putih
  • 7-9 biji cili api (kalau nak pedas boleh letak lebih..)
  • 15 tangkai cili kering (saya rebus dulu)
  • 1 inci halia
  • 1 inci lengkuas
  • 1/2 inci kunyit hidup
  • 2 batang serai dititik
  • 2 helai daun kunyit dihiris halus
  • 4 helai daun limau purut dihiris kasar
  • 4 cawan santan pekat
  • 4 sudu besar kerisik
  • Garam, gula dan serbuk perasa (ikut suka)

Cara Memasak:-Ayam dibuang kulit, dibersihkan dan toskan. Masukkan kesemua bahan (kecuali kerisek, daun limau purut, garam dan gula) ke dalam kuali besar dan kacau sebati atas api perlahan.Masak hingga ayam lembut dan kuahnya sebati..Kacau sekali sekala.

Masukkan garam, gula, kerisik dan daun limau purut dan kacau rata. Seimbangkan rasa. Masak hingga kuah agak pekat atau terpulang masing2.Tutup api, angkat dan hidangkan dengan pulut, lemang, ketupat.

Bread Pudding






Bread Pudding.

Ingredients

  • 6 slices day-old bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup raisins (optional)
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions.


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Break bread into small pieces into an 8 inch square baking pan. Drizzle melted butter or margarine over bread. If desired, sprinkle with raisins.
  3. In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Pour over bread, and lightly push down with a fork until bread is covered and soaking up the egg mixture.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.

Vanilla Sauce.


Ingredients


  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 1/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

Directions.

Whisk 1/2 cup of light brown sugar, the flour, a pinch of cinnamon, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of melted butter, 1 1/4 cups of whole milk,and salt together in a heavy saucepan until smooth. Heat over medium heat, whisking constantly, until thickened and the sauce coats the back of a spoon, 10 to 12 minutes. Stir in the vanilla extract. Pour sauce over warm bread pudding, or serve on the side in a bowl.
